Our rooms
The six rooms are simple, but large windows filter natural light through the lace, projecting floating embroidery onto the parquet. The sun's rays warm them and enhance the spaciousness of the spaces. Routine rooms are set up in:
• three triples with a double bed (160*200 centimetres) and a single bed (80/90*200 centimetres),
• a double room (160*200 centimetres),
• two singles: one with two beds (80*200 centimetres) and the other with a single bed (90*200 centimetres) and a queen size bed (120*200 centimetres),
However, we can add cots for babies, camp beds or move the single beds to create quadruple rooms: there is no shortage of space!
The protagonists are the solid wood furnishings with rustic finishes and warm colors. In some rooms you can leave your head on the enveloping and soft down pillows or, if you prefer, on the synthetic ones.
With loving care, we have recovered the hand-embroidered trousseaus of our ancestors, to bring them back to life in the present in country-shabby style.
We had fun sewing valances, cushions and curtains, using dozens and dozens of meters of natural lace, ruffles, trimmings, linen and cotton.
If your sleep was light you could share the sunrise with some rooster or donkey from the neighborhood. Or, before looking at the time on your cell phone, the chimes of the ancient clock on the bell tower will mark the flow of moments.
In the past, grandfather Toni was the custodian of time, passionately taking care of the bell mechanism.
